Boola- if he is stressed you would see stress marks on his tummy.. so check his tummy and his old owners prolly didnt bath him.. just keep your eyes on FLUFFY for the next few days and i always find the poop is a bit runnier in the bath if that helps.. but it still should be somewhat solid.. Just keep an eye on him and he is prolly just a bity scared because of the switch from cali sand to tile.. and a new owner and new home blah like you said.. I know you will do great with him just wanted to share my concern from the pics didnt mean to say you were doing this or that wrong as i know you just got him today! :D.... also keep offering him water if he is as thirtsy as you say... also make sure he gets some calicum with his feeding tomorrow.. do you know if the old owners gave him calicum??? I got an high risk MBD 3 yr old female the other month and even the owner had uvbs on her but didnt give her calicum and she got mbd and it has quite destroyed her body and you can tell in pictures but i have it stabalized and she seems happier even has some spirit back.. cheers and best of luck with fluffy! ( you prolly can tell i am such an beardie softy!!!! have 4 at the moment and i only got my first one back in Sept!) Dragon- i couldnt hold an montioner! i am deadly afraid of those things!!!! On a brighter note we sold the CAIMAN YAY YAY YAY YAY as it was joeys pet but i took care of it and i hated it so much... money for xmas !!!!! |

After adding two guppies to my livebearer tank, all 35 fish have died, including my beloved 4 year old Orange Moon male platy (YES 4 YEARS OLD.. Probably could of been in the guiness books) So, my livebearer journey is gone and will be adding gourami’s to that tank.. we completley gutted the tank and are using sand now, which looks awesome if I say so myself. I am only on for a short while this morning, I have to go into work at 11am.. took a few hours off since I worked a 12 hour shift yesterday.. I had to fold 4 different types of paper, 1,000 each and stuff them in envelopes.. brochures and stuff for previous guests that have stayed. Our winter sales are down from lack of snow.. doesnt bother me none lol.. anyways... I will be chatting tomorrow night, promise.. hope to see everyone.. |

this is my first post on this thread. its grown so much; im kind of proud of it. i wish i could have been able to take more part in it but theres no time like this time to utilize its bounty. so ive got photos of my chuck up on another thread and ive just come across some extremely lazy photos of my rottweiler that i think i should post so, heres to it "oh...i know you feed me and love me and gave me this nice couch to destroy with my sleeping running paws of doom but could just hit that light and leave me here for a while...ive had a rough day...i know i know, the mailman will be fine...seriously...yawn...ill hang out later" yea he said all that an he sounds like spicoli from fast times at ridgemont high
again with the flashy light maneuver..
hes got the head the size of a sputnik but ill be damned if hes not a mass of cute all wrapped up in some rott
hope you dig for an update on saurobe ze chuckwalla i gave him about a pound of sand yesterday and he stared at it for a decent while from the safety of his rocks i dont blame him really, it certainly brightened up the enclosure and those rocks finally look like theyre at home in some granules rather than plastic. looks very nice. he seems to enjoy it now, though he has not stopped trying to climb the walls. the time has come to drape some sort of net along the walls or from the ceiling so he can run endless laps like the madman he is. a bigger enclosure is in the near future and until then im afraid net is the most i can offer, aside from more rocks. ill get photos and post them though saurobes home isnt anything too extravagant...rubbermade style, but it is home and thats what counts. hope things are grand and holidays are proceeding smoothly. Ok well I’m really tired of running all over the woods. man i wish these arsonists  would stop lighting the woods so i could just go home and have some time off. I need a vacation. Oh what am i saying I get to see so much crazy stuff. I did get to go to the park that held the Kayak Olympics in 1996. It was pretty cool. All of the rapids are man made but they also control the level of water by a dam just above it. They can create class 4 & class 5 rapids in 10mins. So yeah I’m going to go take a shower. I stink. LOL  |

Fivel- Why are people even lighting the woods on fire on purpose in the first place? Whats the reason behind that, are they dumb or something? Who are they getting back at, mother nature? What a bunch of stinkers... maybe one day they will accidentally light themselves on fire, like I did. lol Finners where are you seniorita! Will you be contributing to the fun tonight on chat? I promise I would be there this time, I regretted not going last time.. so see everyone there! Oh and to update on the fish tank situation, I went and bought $25 worth of Gourami’s.. 2 pearls, 1 lavender, and a blue one, plus two corys to do the clean up, they are really beautiful and the tank looks awesome.. so I guess im over all of my fish dying, but im still alittle mad about my old male platy, anywho.. ya... should be snowing on Thursday.. cmon drop a load of snow mother nature... like...12" or something!
