Yeah my Gmother gets cats too. I took alredy 6 to the animal shelter. When they could have done that themselves! Its only 10 min from our house! |

Kimmie...thats sad that people will just drop poor animals off, especially when the shelter is 10 min away. People are just so stupid sometimes...well back to cleaning..just wanted to take a break. |

Morquinn...hehe you are too funny. Being Goofy is the best. I like have goofy days. I’m glad there is so many people on here that like to have fun...its made this forum a lot of fun to come too. Life is too short to be serious or seeweus all the time. hehe. THE “GOOD” NAPKINS Just couldn’t resist giving you a good laugh today! Teaching the "facts of life" is a real art! Who is setting your table for Thanksgiving this year? My mother taught me to read when I was four years old (her first mistake). One day, I was in the bathroom and noticed one of the cabinet doors ajar. I read the box in the cabinet. I then asked my mother why she was keeping ’napkins’ in the bathroom. Didn’t they belong in the kitchen? Not wanting to burden me with unnecessary facts, she told me that those were for "special occasions" (her second mistake). Now fast forward a few months...It’s Thanksgiving Day, and my folks are leaving to pick up my uncle and his wife for dinner. Mom had assignments for all of us while they were gone. Mine was to set the table. When they returned, my uncle came in first and immediately burst into laughter. Next, his wife who gasped then began giggling. Then, my father, who roared with laughter. Mom came in and almost died of embarrassment when she saw each place setting on the table with a "special occasion" Kotex napkin at each plate, with the fork carefully arranged on top. I had even tucked the little tail in so they didn’t hang off the edge! My mother asked me why I used these and, of course, my response sent everyone into fits of laughter. "But, Mom, you said they were for special occasions!" Isn’t it easier to just tell the truth? Pass this on to your girlfriends who need a good laugh. |

what part of canada are you from? my bropthers girlfrinend is a canadian. im not sure where she is from but she went to college in montreal. her family speaks french and she mentioned something about country side and that her lawn has a constant 5-8 FEET OF SNOW on it throughout the winter!!!!!!!!!!! you guys really get that much snow? my goodness............ speaking of snow - i cant wait for the first snow, makes me all giddy inside |

Im from British Columbia the warmest province in canada! we dont get that much snow compared to the rest of canada who has snow like 6 months or so an yr.. lucky us! I had Mashed potatoes <---My favorite since im Irish Turnip Butternut Squash Peas Broccoli Buns Some wierd homemade stuffing Regular stuffing and pumpkin pie Yes Turkey was left off the list because I dont enjoy the taste of it.. think it tastes wierd. |

-A peanut butter sandwich (someone brought in ham...and I don’t care for ham) -Broccoli slaw made by my hubby for me...yummy..its so good. -baked beans -deviled eggs -and some apple pie (not a big fan of pumpkin pie either.) And I accidentally dropped the pumpkin pie on the floor...had to through it away. yucky. -Oh and some cookies that were made ot look like turkeys..way to cute. They were sugar cookies with chocolate frosting and candy corn for the feather and a small reese’s cup for the body. They were yummy. So it was kinda a weird Thanksgiving meal, but it worked I guess. What can you do when you are working! It was a good day overall though. WE had fun I guess. Oh and morquinn...can’t believe you don’t like turkey. I love turkey, kinda disappointed that I dditn’ get it this year. Oh well. And good for you with all the veggies. I hate veggies...i’m going to be a terrible parent. lol. Oh and I just got back from taking my puppy (the big eared freak one..lol) to the vet. She had some accidents in the house, while she was sleeping. And this dog has only peed in the house maybe 4-5 times in 3 years, and that is when she was being potty trained. She was easy. Anyways she hadn’t been eating much and was obsessed with water...so I figured she had a UTI...and that was what the diagosie was by the vet. Poor thing had a temp of 104. Anyways, I hope that is all it was, and she gets better with her antibiotics. ok..well I just had to share about my poor little doggie-do. |

Sorry to hear about the big eared freak dog.. I bet shes feeling a tad bit sick huh.. 104 temp my goodness, that would be heck for us! Yeah Sylvester decided he would puke out a 7" roundworm last week, and it was still movin, that was the grossest thing ever.. well he has a vet appointment on Dec 6th for rabies, distemper,roundworm medication and to lose his MANHOOD! Poor guy, all in one day.. better to just get it all done with at once. |

eww...a roundworm. That would be pretty gross. Poor kittie is going to have a long sad day on Dec 6th. I think Cassie is already feeling a bit better. She got an anti-inflammatory shot to decrease her temp. |

We had Ham Turkey sweet pot. casserole I made it with rum! It was good! broccoli casserole develd eggs dressing( my momma in law makes the best dressing EVER! IO hated it untill I tried hers! Its not dry adn it sooooooo goooood! But she is real bad sick. This might be our last Holidays with her so hubby and I had to make it. And we make like hers! So i was excited about!!!) green beans carot cake lemon icebox cake oh and beer bread! It was so good too! I want snow!!!!!! i WANT ONE TIME FOR MY BABIES TO BUILD A SNOWMAN!! It used to here and now it dosent!!!!! I WANT SNOWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

turkey with gravy(of course) sweetpotatoes with marshmellows sauted mushrooms homemad cranberry sauce canned cranberry sayce(my faV) mashed tataoes stuffing(homemade of course) biscuits lasagna ham cauliflower and for desserts.... chocolate pudding pie(made by ME) apple crisp pumpkin pie cookies and thats it,, normally theres more, but we were lazy this year:) |
