Ok anothe rquick question. I have it planned out in my head and everything but do ya’ll use fake or live plants? that’s the only thing Im not sure about! Oh yeah and another thing I’m gonna look at the pet store for some limbs and stuuf to put in there but if they dont have any what kind of wood do i use? Im soo excited I might not wait till after x-mas! could I keep it in a tank untill I get its viv built? I might buy it tomarrow! If they have any! So please let me know someone! Ya know what I always said I wouldn’t be. (I was "freaky" in HS) but i have cahnged and grown with my kids! So now I’m in the football and the races and stuff! Go Dale Jr! War Eagle!!!! Anyways he came home and asked to play football which he was already playing b-ball and I didnt want too. But I let him and I cried the first day of practice! But My husband made me let him stay. And now I have the football jersey to macth and up at that fince yelling untill I cant talk. The little girl does cheerleading and pageants! and gymnastics. My moms theory is u keep em busy and they wont get into trouble and thats what she did with me an di turned out alright! I had the band and Danceline and softball! But I’m not a stage mom. I dont push andtime they say they I dont want to anymore thats it! Then yayyy! A break!!!! I can get my house cleaned finally! no jk like I have always said I would not have a life if it werent for my kids having one. But their school comes first my son is so far a staright A student! I’m thinking about getting it tom. I’mnot sure I just want to make sure I have something to put it in untill we build its viv!!! I’ll post pics when get "Crikey". I cant wait! Im soo excited im like a kid on x-mas morning!

I love the enthusiasm. You are too funny. I’m more of a home body now. I work my a** off on fires and stuff all summer long and then it is great to be able to relax. I think our NC trip got pushed back to the end of the month though. I’m not very happy about it. I like to work and It gets old hanging out at home sooo much. But atleast I get to spend time with the GF. I don’t have any kids that I know of. lol. So I have plenty of free time. I spend most of money On my truck. I’m pushing for 200 mph. It will be the ride of my life If I get there. I’ in the process of adding a blower motor to my truck. which is costing me a pretty penny but i think it will be worth it.

Yayyy!!! I just called my favorite petstore and they have one left! I dont know how old or big but she said it was like $22.95 she thot. So Is that reasonable? I got my first waterdragon today!!!!!!!! Yayyyyyyyyy!!!! I’m soooo excited! Don’t know much about it’s sex , or anything yet haven’t messed too much with it in a hurry to go get my son and nephew from school but I did hold it in the store they had 2 and it was a brighter gree and it satyed on my hand really calm and the other went wild and about got away from the huy twice so needless to say i got the one who was calm!!! Post some pics later!!!

Ok I got him in a 10 gal for right now. It’s a ten gal with a cage on top that is like big like a 10 gal. It has the bedding in the bottom, a stick and a rock and his water bowl right now. I have vines hanging down from the top. I have just the basking light on him right now they didnt have the other light they are on order but they said he would be alright for right now till tom. But he’s at the front of the cage looking out. he hasnt moved. Is he just getting used to hi surroundings?

Kimmie-Congrats on your new WD, I answered your Basilisk question on your other post. I would definatley stick with one wd for now, because you dont know the sex of yours yet, and the cage size is an issue for you right now, with just the one.

OMG!!! I just fed him for the first time and that was the most awesome experince evre!!! He was sitting on the rock and mynephew dropped a cricket in and he just jumped off the rock and grabbed it! It was soooo cool! Anyways he ate 3 tonight so how often do I feed him?

sorry!!!!!! we read every post every day but just cant find time to reply.........
we went to the zoo today, it was fun, but Mozzy says its the WORST zoo hes ever been to!  oh well, at least we got to see the elephants getting bathed. it was so cute. now we will go fishing so i can catch big fish while Mozzy gets nothing!

I had a football game to day with my son! Still undefeated by the way! Won 35-8! Yayy! Anyways just had to get that in. But mmyhusband had to work so he had to go by the pet store for me... it’s 30-45 min away! ANd he was alredy down there so he went and got my other light and more crickets and the calcium stuff. So he is onhis way with it. I put little ther. on the sids and it says 80 degrees. So am I supposed to turn that light off at night? ANd keep the uvb going or what? I couldn’t remember and when I had my kids to clean I think they threw away my booklet I made! Also my son wants to know before he picks itr up does it bite? I didnt think they did or if so it wouldnt hurt. But Im not sure enough to tell him and it actually did and scare him from it forever!

Well they may bite but no it won’t hurt. At that age it won’t cause any type of damage. Well I did figure out part of the lights but not all of it. The uvb should be on for about 12-14 hours a day. The other light though. Is it a basking light or just a heat lamp? if it is a basking lamp then you can turn it off at the same time, IF you can maintain your temps. Well it will drop a little but it shouldn’t be bad enough to cause any trouble. I have 3 lamps in my Viv. I have a red heat lamp, a uvb, and a basking lamp. But my viv is allot bigger than yours so it is harder to maintain the temps at night without the heat lamp.
