Rancho Cucamonga , Calif. drop me a line if your swinging through , off the 210 x 15 frwy. ..I am 49 and acting like a 12 year old ...or so I am told. Got my first King snake at 12 or 13 ...and have always loved reptiles, creatures and nature. Feed the birds out back leave scraps for the opposums and even pull off the road to remove a road kill wondering who could have hit such a lovely animal(coyote/racoon/ possum/cat or dog) I had the opportunity to go to Alaska and Yukon and B.C when I was in my early 20’s for 2 years , that was an awesome experince. Now that is some wildlife ...oh yeah and the Canadian’s too ehh. I have been in the flooring business for over 20 years and within the past 3 or 4 years general construction. Both residential and commercial. I am amazed at what gets thrown away and always try to incorporate items into somthing useful. Retail stores are always tossing cabinets and fixtures and display cases. Makes for a golden opportunity to make enclosures. My wife on the other hand does not share my passion for the wild and wierd ....So at this time I don’t keep snakes or mice or roaches. Somehow she feels lizards are tolerable and I can raise worms and crickets as long as it doesn’t get loose in the house.....lol..I said sure no problem. I recieved a water dragon female late 2006 with broken digits /missing toenails/snout damage and respiratory problems. She passed after some months and I was heart broken. Learned a lot, and have taken in a male adult abused /snout damage missing teeth lower right jaw/tail is missing what might be as much as 6 inches or more. Was scared, aggresive and a biter. Luckily no broken digits or limbs.Only missing a toe nail and apparently some spikes off his back, considering some of the wonderful images here. This time I went straight to the vet and got a check up and some antibiotics for the chronic jaw bone issue. I am told that since bone is exposed and teeth are missing chances are I will always be dealing with swollen tissue at the lip and irritation in that area which can lead to infection. I watch diligently. Diet was poor and from what I gather almost exclusively supers and mealies. I have since fed super / wax/ and mealies/once in awhile a gold fish ..but they become fodder for the supers.( nothing goes to waste...lol) Pinkies and or fuzzies 1x every 8- 10 days. I struggle with any veggies or earthworms. I will you the old spaghetti trick with the earthworm and he swallows them. But I have had wonderful success with Japanese Bettle larva(grubs) and June bug grubs. Can’t get the crickets to hold still long enough and even when I disable them he won’t take it. I just bought some mango baby food to try and also some banannas. Lots of lick smacking but no dersire for more. I am getting calcium and vitamins and lots of humidity for him and he is perking up a bit and then goes lazy on me. But he is shedding heavily at last, as I type this.This time I will make sure he gets a complete and clean shed. No more lost toe nails and spikes. With all your help and great information we can keep "Buddy" strong and healthy and build him a new home. I really enjoy meeting you all and look forward to soaking up as much info and skills as possible ...so if you think no one is paying attention to the samll details , you are mistaken ...I will prod and poke and question you until I get every drop of information out of you. My name is Yesica (sister of Yexalen) I don’t like sharing personal information because i am still young You might have heard of my sister reffering to me as Shae... thats my middle name and she really is the only one who calls me that... not sure why... but you can all call me yesica I dont get to see the lizards that often only when I go to yexs house... which lately hasnt been a lot but at least once a week i get to see them all (mario is mine he just lives with yex) Angus is really cool because he sits on my head! i dont know what else to introduce me as but whatever! say hi... or dont  |

Hi I’m Brian De Carlo looks like the oldest so far 56. I live in San Diego and Have been a hair Designer since 1976. I am a single father and have two children my daughter soon to be 14 and My son 25 living in Maui. I have what looks like the least of the creatures that are listed here. My cat Smokey and two Dragons Sammy and Sephira. I have been a member approximately two years here and appreciate you all for your help over time. I inherited and rescued my both Dragons in my fifties, pretty odd to take up at this age but still kinda cool. This has been a fun link to follow you guys are all great to finally see. Peace and love to you all. I wouldn’t have gotten these two to where they are now if it wasn’t for all your help here, THANKS!

oh i have 6 dogs, well 5 actually now... mostly chihuahuas. i think 15 rats lol....anybody want a baby or 5...an aquatic frog..which is way cool to have! alot of fishies....oh and a water dragon HA! and a rabbit. i have 2 kids. Summer, 12 very grown up and mature for her age. shes my baby girl. and Richard, my son. he is a total crack up!! lol...hes my bud. hes got Bipolar, yet hes a straight A student. so, im very proud of both of them. then again....teenagers!!!!! ugh.. lol see.. lol not much. just me and my wittle family. :) |

I am Zach.. I’’m 16 I have 1 WD i named him today! his name is Valen ( val for short ) I also take care of my brothers bark anole ( caught in florida ) it’s a pain since it is used ot the outdoors and he caught it as an adult when i open the cage to feed him he will jump all the way to the top of the ceiling! then he jumps around and it’s such a hastle. Anyway... Yeah My water dragon is about 10-11" long or less and well i guess thats it.Ohh and im here because of yex! i found her on allexperts and she sent me a link with this site  So yeah ill put of pic of me in the giant picture thread |
