How long has it been like that ? It can take awhile sometimes. I think just soaking the tail would be less harmful then soaking the whole uro. I freak out when I hear about people putting their uro in a tub,bowl,or some other kind of container with water in it. Too much chance for asperation .
I would try dipping the tail for a couple of minutes if he will hold still long enough. I think if he’s back in his cage and has all day to bask then it should dry up pretty good. Good luck !!!

that vaselien on the tail for 3 days 2 times a day i did that , thats really not much stress.

I know putting the vaseline on the tail wont cause that much stress but putting him in a temp viv without sand or his familiar surroundings will cause stress. I have quite a jumpy Uro. Even when I put his food in if he’s in a particularly jumpy mood he hides out for most of the day. Other days though he lies out all day and lets me feed him.
