I covered up the board with tin foil and put a bunch around light fixture but I am going to remove the foil around the fixture because I think its a little too damp! lol

To answer your sexing question - that Savannah is simply too small to accurately sex. When they get to about 18" or so TL you can start to see head development differences and hemipenal bulges in males. When they are small, it’s a total crapshoot with this species. I’ve looked at gazillions of babies and juveniles and I just can’t seem to find any telltale signs of males vs females in Savannahs that are small. Other species have some tricks.

I wanted to add live plants to my tank, but i didn’t know which ones would be safe to use!

Looking good. Do you have any thing to read temps. If not you should get somthing to read temps. You will want temps of atleast 70F cool side 90F warm side and 130F basking temp.
