Hey all! This is where Magnus lives! It’s 6’ tall, 4’ wide and 2.5’ deep. The cage came almost as it, all I added were the 2 shelves, the 2 white ramps, and the shower curtain.

This is his top shelf. I installed it low for Marshall, the iggy this cage was modified for. Kylie had suggested putting a ramp up to the light so he could get as close as he wanted. When Magnus moved in, I used this piece of wood as a "ramp".

This is his second shelf. A little bit cooler. I keep his food and water here for now, but I’m not sure they’ll always fit there as he gets bigger!

This ramp was, again, a modification for Marshall, but Magnus loves to run up and down it, and it’s so cute! I decided to leave it in.

The guy who sold me the cage had a water dragon in it, so there was already this water feature. Taking out the green tub to fill and clean would leave a huge hole in the bottom that Magnus could get out of, so for now I’ve just been putting this bin in there.

The whole front of the cage is open, and I put velcro all the way around the edges and velcroed a shower curtain over it. It’s great for the humidity, and it’s clear so I can sit and watch him do acrobatics for hours. It’s super easy to get in and out of for feeding and cleaning. When he’s big enough to free roam, I’ll remove the velcro from about halfway down, and he’ll be able to come and go as he pleases, just using the bottom part of the curtain as a flap.

Even though he gets lost in there a lot, everyone on here assured me it’s better to start him off in a huge cage. I’m so glad I did, he LOVES it!

Hi guys! I figured I’d post up some pics of Snacks new cage. I’ve wanted to get into furniture building for a long time, and this was my first project. 4’high/3’wide/2.5’deep. It will do for now, but I plan on building a bigger one in a different room soon. Snack loves it so much he won’t come out. He was a free roamer, but now when I take him out, he goes right back to his sun deck. The reason for the cage was to help in potty training. He stared me in the eye one night when he poo’d in my $200 Bostonian dress shoes. Things have gotten much better. =-)
