 Meal worms???

Is that the stages of their life? Do they go from worm to bug to worm to bug?
Please write back, (I am confused!)
Jonny.

 Meal worms???

Worm to Alien twitchy thing to beetle, beetle lays eggs then dies, eggs hatch into worms, worms grow till they turn into Alien twitchy things then turn into beetles again. Constant cycle when all conditions are good.

The Pictures of the bigger worm, the bigger ’alien’ and the bigger beetle are super worms..the smaller of everything is a meal worm.

Apples are fine, but carrots are more nutritious if you are intrested in gutloading them. Pretty much any fruit/veggie with mousture will keep them alive though. (potato and broccoli stalks are my fav for the colony, carrot for gutloading.)

it just molted.....and it usually takes 2-3 weeks for it to turn into a beetle after pupa....faster if warmer and higher humidity

hope that anwsered your questions

 Meal worms???

funny thing about meal worms: awhile ago I tried feeding an anole of mine a few mealworms, however it seemed to take little to no interest in them and walked away from them. eventually I assumed that he ate some of them when i couldnt see anymore.a few days later i changed my substrate and kept it in a bag. A few months later I was going to change the substrate again and use some of the old substrate. So, i went to go get some from the old bag and it scared me when i poured some substrate in there were tons of beetles in it!

Umm... They were bugs from the very beginning when they were in the egg. Just because its a beetle doesn’t mean it just turned into a bug.
