 Got a quick wuestion bout eating habbits.

hi, i just got a northern watersnake maybe two weeks ago and i went and got some rosy for the bowl and i put 8 in there and he ate them so i went about 4 days later maybe and got 8 more and put them in there and he ate them right away and now just today, prolly about 2 days since he has eaten i put 7 more in so i would have to go back to the pet shop in a couple days to get them... cna u guess what happens.....he ate all 7!!

now my question is... should he be eating so much bc i am new to keeping snakes but i am pretty sure that it is kinda abnormal that he is eating so much. anything body have any explanations maybe?

good question it seems like you want the best for this snake, well you see they will eat whatever food you put in there and never stop eating so gluttony is a problem. I would cut down a little maybe 10 ever 3 days
and add a frog or toad in there as a treat every once and a while.

well I would feed a frog.
You can catch a frog or just buy a small leopard frog or tree frog from a petstore
(grey or green tree frogs will be the only in my oppinion safe tree frog to eat)
