Hey Everyone. I just had a startling discovery today. I Have a young water dragon. He is about 7 inches and I notices today that he had very very very small white bugs crawling on his face. He didnt seem to mind them. Like he wasnt trying to get the off. So, I rinsed off the little bugs off my water dragon. It has been a few hours and no more sign of the bugs. What does this mean? The didnt look like parasites. Has anyone else had this issue? Do you know what the white bugs are?
I think Abe is basically right...It wouldn’t actually be larvae, but baby crickets are a whitish color...I remember when some baby crickets hatched in my bearded dragon cage...I seen these little white things crawling all over the place. So it can very well be baby crickets. However to be on the safe side...you can always change out the substrate and wash up the cage, and of course bathe your dragon again.
