 Rope For dragon cage

I am building a cage for my Chinese water dragon and I want to put some climbing ropes in there for him to use. Are there any types of ropes that are good/bad? What thickness of rope is the best? Thanks for your help.

 Rope For dragon cage

I actually use pool noodles coated in Titebond II and peat moss. Otherwise I would recommend standard twine rope; the thicker the better.
Any rope is really fine, as far as I know. It’s just a matter of aesthetics.
A lot of froggers use standard twine rope coated in peat and silicone. I’ve found this not as pleasing as the silicone and peat tends to shed over time.
Hope this helps.
