That’s not from shedding, it looks like something else is wrong. But I called my reptile vet and spoke to him and showed him the picture and he said to consult your herp vet to see what it is and said don’t apply anything.

yea its not i dont wanna go to a vet. is that i live in a place where there is no vet. i literally have to drive an hour and a half to a actual vet that knows this. all i got is dog hospitals and i tried they said they dont know. and there is only one guy who told me i should try putting anti biotic and soak him in warm water. also it doesn’t really look like skin infection because it is not like a fluid filled black spot, this is really weird.

Maybe he could’ve rubbed his chest area on something rough kinda hard. I don’t think you should put antibiotics on it because we don’t know what is or how he got it but reptiles are known to hide symptoms if something is wrong until the last minute. I hate that theirs so many vets but like only 1% sees reptiles, I travel to another state for vet visits and its a back breaker. But I think you should at least call to see if a visit is necessary or if their some home remedies you can use.

Thanks for the help. Let’s hope it is just bacteria skin riot that is treatable with polysporin. Thanks anyways
