 Awwww dissappointment

So i was interesting in looking for another female WD. (actually mom gave me the idea. whodda thunk?)

anymoo so i was surfing kijiji and my area hardly ever has WD for sale, like nice adults or subadults and i run across this ad thats selling 2 females. TWO females. i was like zomg! so i contact the seller and ask for pics and this is what i get =(

apparently "vet certified" females. waaaaaaahh so close soo close!

omg kay so i was like "duuude you trying to pull me leg or someting" soo this is his reply

"I had a male and a female and the male died ( no thanks to the vet ) so i still have the female and i just got another who laid some eggs so she a female as well . let me know if you want to see them.

i was like Whaaaaat.

yah gonna ask for vent pics! lol this is gonna be fun (ny)

blaaah so i finally got a reply lol. anymoo i don’t know if he seriously thinks he does have 2 females... or he lied to me about his male dying and him getting a new one and that one laying eggs....

Hmm well IMO The one on the left of that recent pic is VERY well coloured and I’m pretty sure I can see male bits at the base of the tail, even at THAT angle!

The other one (on the right) looks to have a bite out of it’s crest - which could indicate a male trying to mate with it - or it could just be a "lesser" male that has been dominated...

Either way - I stick to what I said before, the one on the left has GOT to be a boy! the one on the left looks boyish but may not be? *shrugs* we’ll have yo wait for some under tail shots. PLEASE post them Tarkah, If I’m wrong, I want to know

just an after thought though. seeing as these two "may" be males, wouldn’t a fight have already gone out?

i mean their tank size is abysmally small for two dragons that size. its a 90 gallon.

I dunno. That one on the right is missing a few spikes out of its crest, but looks like the big guy on the left is missing quite a few himself.

I think they are both male, but let’s see the under shots. If the one on the right is indeed female, then it is a nice big healthy one looking at a size comparison.

I think he is a moron, or being stupid. Starting with the whole "vet certified pair of females" thing. I also think that he was wanting to sell them off to someone who didn’t know any better, and now that you came along, is trying to cover up his initial lies.

I wonder what their history is? Like how long has he had them and where did he get them from . . .

Good luck! I would also loooove to have another female, but egghead ain’t happening, lol!
