 Update on Java Lizard.

He is doing much better! I’ve already noticed a change he ate yesterday (about 12 crix) woot woot! He’s moving around more and kept his good eye open for a while yesterday even his frog friend is more active. I can’t believe I was hurting my poor Java Lizard... And I can’t believe they haven’t recalled that light!!! Wtf honestly that’s not right to sell something they know will hurt the reptiles. But any who I’m looking into new lights for him and I’ve been taking him outside for about 30 mins to an hour. It made me so happy when he opened his eye and ran up my arm like he used to and perched on my shoulder. Ok I’m done now, thank you guys so much.

That is such good news!!!!!!!!! I’m so glad we were able to point you in the right direction and give you a heads up about the light!!!!!!!! I hate that they sell stuff that’s dangerous for our reptiles! The biggest 2 things being heat rocks and these lights!! But that’s the reptile world, unfortunately! That’s why I’m grateful for forums where you can get good info from peeps who have reptiles and actually care about their well being!!!

Yep ...that’s grerat ....so sorry you had to experience what a lot of folks found out the hard way . I too bought a bad bulb and watched my dragon become slightly injured...glad I caught it ...thanks to others telling me in time...

So glad he is doign better!

Pet stores and other reptile suppliers are horrible at that

Lights
Heat rocks
Substrates
Supplements

They just want the money, they dont care about the animal

Keep us updated!
