 Semi- OT; Greenhouse lights???

In the future we plan to build a greenhouse ( we are going "green" eco-friendly :) ) lol well anyways I’m curious to know if green house lights would be ok for Java. We plan to let the greenhouse be his home for part of the year or something along those lines. Thanks guys.

Are you talking about plant grow lights? They only but off UVA if I remember right...

They are not sufficient sources of UVB rays... so grow lights cant be used for herps

But the UV reptile lights to wonders for growing plants....

Be sure there is no fertilizer in the green house and all safe plants with organic soil...

Metal Halaides...they emit UVB ....but for 169.00 you can get a UVB meter and check all the lights you want...

They went up by 10.00 ....argghhhh
