My friend that is a manager at another petsmart said they have one that is up for adoption, I would really like to take it but shes positve its a male. the cage im going to start building next weekend would be big enuff. Its going to be 8 ft. tall, 4 ft. wide and 2 ft. deep. but i dont want to get him and have them not get along and put him through going to another home.

When I got my two males at a year and a half old, they were clutch mates and still sleeping on top of eachother. That is why I thought I might be able to continue to house them together. But unfortunately, as soon as I got them home they began to fight! Now they are over 4 years old, and have been living in separate vivs the whole time. Sorry.

My luck with two males....
Well I only have one now so that should answer that :(

All was fine the first 3 months then the smaller Angus (RIP) stopped eating and wouldnt leave his hide at the bottom fo the tank. With no signs of agression he was being bullied poor thing

I got him a new tank he was eating fine after that and i was working on a full size enclosure but the little guy didn’t make it. Thinking it was something like a brain aneurysm or something else similar.

But its rare that you get two males that will tolerate eachother
