Lil Rascal when he was a tiny kitten.
Ike absolutely HATES lawnmowers!!! LMAO!!!
This is a water moccasin that was swimming by the shore. I followed it to make sure it got a clear distance away from where the kids were fishing.
This is a frog my son accidently dug up while we were camping. Pretty sure it’s a young bullfrog.
It has some wicked eyes!
My youngest Toby by the lake.

My boys would kill me if they found out I posted this one!!LOL!! Waiting to head off to school in the morning!!

Yexalen, beautiful mountains and pretty snow! Where are those mountains? I believe you said on another post, but I forget, lol. That frog is too cute! Mama42, the kitties are so cute - all of them! I like the ad, hehe. 4Kitara, the kitten is adorable - so cute in the shoe! That is one neat frog, and the snake too. Nice lake as well; where is it? Hehe... silly kids sleeping in - mornings are tough though, so I do not blame them! Okay, my turn to share a few random photos then! :) A hummingbird in a tree.

I am the same way with my dragons as you are with Ava - they are so used to it now, that they do not even blink when I put the camera no more than a centimeter from their faces; poor girls! weird story: ok so went to the river last night aound 11pm. sitting there looking at all the smoke from the fires roll in. now this river (Sac river) is really still. as in its not the rushing kind. all of a sudden we heard this HUGE splash!! right before we heard a fish jump, so we were thinking...JAWS!! but, then it didnt stop. it kept splashing or whatevin the same spot..and did that for the rest of the night. my son, who is 14 almost 15, was freaked and said it was getting closer lol.....of course it wasnt. it was really weird, with the fog like smoke sitting on the water. kinda creepy lol...and dark! i think it was a rock that fell and caused a whirlpool. i just cant think of what that couldve been. i mean, there has to be some kind of pressure behind the water for it too rush through something and that loud too. who knows....anyways, i am soooo bored! and hot!!! the smoke is making it so muggy! |

That part of the river is the swimming area... up about 100ft the river is VERY fast and then it settles right there in a nice wide pond. REALLY nice... reaches 5ft deep thats it! Perfect for swimming with young’ns Creepy about the river... how odd... must have been a rock :D I just posted earlier on the Peoples Pics about the fires in Cali... so your good then where you are?? It only got up to 80 today but supposed to hit high 90s near Thursday... I cant wait... I wanna go swimming but the nearest lake is a frickin 2 hour drive and river swimmin isnt the same Ok so the story is we went camping last year and it rained and got VERY VERY MUDDY!!! Chloe my Yorkie pup was with us. SHE HATED THE MUD! Such a little snob Muddy miserable dog:

I have many of the grubs which develope in my compost box ...they grow to the size of your little finger. Once a year for a brief time the mature and mate ...laying eggs in fertile organic soil. |
