NEED ADVICE ON MEXICAN CANTIL CARE

Hey everyone was just wondering if anyone could give me a little information on caring for a Mexican Cantil because I have been looking and looking for substrate, temp’s, humidity, etc and can not find any good information. Also I should have some pictures up sometime during this Thanksgiving break of the new little addition to the collection :)

Papi, I keep mine in a sand, potting soil mix 50/50 and they do very well. Keep a small water bowl but don’t let it spill or get the substrate wet..

You may have better luck looking for care sheets on FL cottonmouths. The care is essentially the same.

You may have better luck looking for care sheets on FL cottonmouths. The care is essentially the same. They are hardy snakes so you dont need to worry too much about substrate, humidity, etc. Just get the temps in the right range and feed it and you will be fine.
