 Tiny gecko in Virginia.

Of course after many years bringing them home from Florida they seem to have established themselves on my house quite nicely..

Mostly I read a lot of herping forums and see where the guys are finding everything. If person posts that he was in Savanahha and had great luck, I will go down there and hit the back roads looking for old torn down barns and house to flip tin..

No offense or anything but I put a lot of time and hard work into field herping and I dont like to give out my secrets- especially online when anyone could read them including roundup collectors. I dont think it is anything you can learn online anyways so I suggest you team up with someone in your area that is an experienced field herper and tag along with them as often as you can. That way you will learn a few places to look and know what to look for.

Over the years, I have acquired over 300 tin sites (that are still good and current as of last spring) in FL and GA alone and somewhere around 500 good road cruising roads. You will start learning to spot things like this and I suggest you mark them so that you can remember exactly where they are.

Try finding someone in your area via fieldherpforum.com
That is all I am willing to say.
