Before I let them go.... 
I am giving away one pair of each of my Mojave X WDB cross babies and Timber X Canebrake.
Does anyone here have or if they catch some small garters, browns, worm snake, ect trade with me. I have a big female Coral snake that we caught and I need to stock up for the winter....

Jeff I am always finding Garters and Ringnecks, right now I have 2 Garters about 10 inches long maybe? And I have a Ribbon from Florida and a Small Scarlet, and a baby Milk Snake, and a baby Black Rat Snake ( the babies are about 5-7 inches long maybe? so is the Scarlet) I need a Female Copperhead (any subspecies) and a female Cottonmouth I have 3 males of each..

Cool, send me a PM and we can hook it up. If you have a couple garters, and baby rats, that would be great. I’ll give you a a pair of hybrids.Oh, never use the ring necks as feeders because they have some sort of toxin that can kill other reptiles when digested...

Thanks Jeff for the info on not feeding the Ringnecks cause of toxicity... I don’t use them for feed, but I do know that some people have used them to feed their Corals... But you say this could be deadly to them? Not good. I hope the people I know did not loose any of their stock, and stopped using Ringnecks for food.. I have a good spot to find Milk Snakes and usually find a few Garters at night if the temps are right, but now the temps are getting colder due to the storms hitting Nova Scotia anyways I did see some D.O.A’s tonight which means they were moving sometime today, I stopped cause I saw a small baby Rat Snake, as I was aproaching it a car came upon it I waved my flashlight and yelled please don’t come any further, but the ding dong driver pulled right on top of it to ask me if I needed help?! I said dude I was in the middle of the road, if I had not moved you would have hit me, and all you can do is run over this snake to ask me if I needed help? Thanks for making me feel like a deer in the headlights and running over this snake have a good night... Jerk.. anyways I did find a Red-Belly!

What kind of places should i look ? im pretty far out in the country, actually very far, so any suggestions... want one real bad.. i have a corn and a ball and a ring neck right now...

I have actually found both my baby Rats crossing the roads at night, but you can find them under tin or wood piles and in old barns.. They have just hatched not to long ago so the are on the move to get a feed and find a place to bed for the winter.

shipping is outrageous and there is alot of BS you would have to deal with as well, if you are out in the country, then try looking under tin piles, lumber piles, junkyards but be careful cause you also will probally find venomous snakes that way as well so whatch where you put your hands and feet, also I have been with a friend in Kansas who would go into cow fields and flip over rocks, we found rat snakes and milk snakes that way, but we also found a Rattler under a rock, so again be careful.

well i can try but ive looked everywhere! i cant think of anywhere else to look, i spend all my free time searching for snakes! is there any other types of places to look?
