They could be more amusing by being a little more original. But last I checked this isn’t romper room or Mr. Rogers neighborhood.

Good luck getting the license and good luck actually getting one, and Uh... There not the most VENOMOUS (but the are certainly in the top 5) they actually produce the most venom.

Taipans do not produce the most venom, they produce very small amounts, actually.

usually the highest venom yield award goes to the king cobra or gaboons.

taipans are just insanely toxic and drop for drop the most dangerous but i dont think considering your self a thrill seeker means owning a dangerous and very drab looking elapid especially one the with AV is pretty much a 90 % mortality rate and if you do survive its like have a brain anuerism or a stroke. there not insane captives though most people that own them dont think of them as crazy insane snakes
if your looking for a thrill get a WC amazon tree boa an feed it bare handed and see if you can avoid being bitten.

as for your other dream of an irocongi thats just dumb and not even a thrill unless you planned on swimming with it its not going to hurt you through your fish tank

Actually, the largest yield ever recorded came from the King Brown from the Queensland zoo.

Actually, if I’m not mistaken an inland taipan has never killed anyone, i think there have been 4-5 bites all to collectors/importers and they have all survived.

um common english names mean absolutly nothing the only way to be sure what someone is talking about is to use the latin name

and just becuase oxyuranus have never killed anyone doesnt mean there not extremely lethal the few people that have been bitten were probably zoo keepers or very seasoned keepers that had stock piles of AV at their disposal in minutes dont make the mistake becuase they havent killed anyone there not dangerous or life threatening

well first off a good majority of scientific names are derived from greek so calling them "latin" names is wrong as well and i forced my self to learn latin names becuase 1. when your looking up obsecure animals that have 100s of common names you can weed through the junk and just type in the scientific name and have better results and 2. many people dont use common names or there is no common name so its best just do some hefty research and familiarize yourself with these "latin" names to avoid it
