how do u guys do it! i dont own any hots personally, but I’m pretty sure most of them are wild caught, right? I’m mean do u just bite the bullet and go for it? taming 1 just seems like such a huge task with the risks!

Handling? There is equipment for that. Wild caught? Like non-vens, some are some are not. Bite the bullet? I guess that’s one way to look at it. I view it as another VERY interesting part of the hobby. Taming? why? I think people are far more dangerous. With the snakes, at least I know where I stand with them. I know what to expect from them. Humans lie.

using a hook or two to move a snake is not the same as handling.

they may not bite but the risks are not in your favour if you try to handle them

yes people are dangerous but 99% of people aren’t gonna attempt to kill you at every opurtunity and have the ability to do it each time

yes you know where you stand and what to expect but that doesn’t mean you should handle them
