 Humidity problem! PLEASE HELP!

Hey everyone,
I’ve got 3 Uromastyx, 2 Malis and one Nigerian. The humidity is up to 35% now. I am aware that this is dangerous to them. Can anyone please tell me how i can get the humidity down in their cage? Oh btw im using carpet as substrate ive tried other sands and stuff but the humidity stays the same.
HELP PLEASE?!

In my experience with Pogo, as soon as I get the temp right in the enclosure the humidity drops. What’s your temp? Pogo’s humidity’s at 27% at this moment and I really don’t think 35% is all that bad.

Can we get other members to post their % and add their opinions?

Humidity is partly determined by where you live. If you live in a coastal area with high humidity, say southern FL for example, 35% humidity in your cage is likely as good as you are going to get especially in the winter when many low pressure systems bring in higher humidities. However, if you live in a dry area, like myself in Salt Lake City, humidity is likely never going to rise above 20% in a 95+ degree cage. I agree with Pogos grandma that 35% is not too bad. If it were above 50% and your temps were low, that would be a problem.

I live in Alberta where it is way drier than Quebec. I think you have a pretty decent humidity level where you are.
