 New owner!

Hi, I recently bought a young Egyptian Uromastyx. I am going to pick him up tomorrow.
I have done research, and I’ve been talking to the people at the pet store alot.
I have a 10 gallon tank, I was told that it should be fine.
I am new to owning reptiles and I want to make sure that I know as much as I can to make sure I can give my new little guy a great life.
I’ve been reading that having a small water dish is a big no no because it raises the humidity, but the people told me at the pet store that it’s fine. Which is true??
Is there anything important that I should know?

Upgrade the tank if hes squished also if this uro is a desert dweller then a small water bowl is ok and high humidity isnt needed. Research on Egyptian uro care.

A ten gallon is not enough these types of Uros are by far the biggest at 3 feet you need a custom made terrarium
Which pet store are you getting him from
