 Zoo-Med Excavator

I found this caresheet and it discusses the URO’s substrate choices. It speaks of how they love to burrow. Here is the caresheet http://reptileapartment.com/2013/05/23/uromastyx-captive-care-overview/

Has anyone considered trying this new Excavator stuff which is available now?

I tried to use it at one point but after it dries it goes really weird and brittle. Also, if you form an actual burrow out of it, it goes moldy really quick if you don’t dry it properly on the inside.
