Looking for material that wont get Uros toenails stuck in it

I have a little fan that i am needing to put at the bottom of my cage to push out hot air in the summers and keep my temps better, so i am looking for some type of material that air will easily push through and that also wont allow the Uros long toenails to get stuck in it since they will be walking on it, any ideas?

You don’t want to pull hot air out through the bottom as this will only drag hot air down to floor level--remember, hot air rises. Instead you should be focusing on sucking cool air in (on the cool end) and warm air out through the top. If you can put a vent on the lower portion of the wall on the cool end and another at the top of the enclosure it would be a much more efficient way of providing cooler ambient temps. If you still cannot achieve adequate temps an AC unit would be the next step.
