Well... plenty of people just haven’t found the right pair... and from what I’ve read, their lovemaking is pretty rough, getting along means one of the uros will be dominant and the other submissive, the submissive one usually suffers, male or female. It’s not like a kennel club, there isn’t a uro club in the neighborhood to mix and match partners LOL. Sometimes the damage isn’t obvious or immediate, one day the submissive uro shows up with missing toes or bite marks. Not the best thing to do unless you have a really big tank, and I wouldn’t even chance it with a 6 x 2 x 2. Maybe if you had a room sized enclosure that might work. :p

No they can not. You should never mix species. Pairing two of the same kind rarely works unless you do it while their very young and even then it can go wrong at any time.
Never mix different kinds.

Even the females are territorial when they are gravid and may be aggressive to their mate!
