Beardie "Jabba" after star wars baddie Chameleon "Randal" after colour changing baddie in Monsters inc Iguana "Travis" after Travis Barker from Blink 182 (its the spikes/mowhawk) LOL geckos "Fred n Wilma" after the Flintstones I also have a house spider that lives in the gas meter cupboard hes called "Keith" but hes not a pet obviously!!! |

You can go for the obvious and well-known: Dante; The slightly obscure: Mephistopheles; The outright silly: Satan; Or the classical: Vesta, the Roman goddess of fire; and Hestia, the Greek goddess of fire (which would have been my second choice); Vulcan, the Roman god of fire, from whom we get the words volcano and vulcanism; Hephaestus was the Greek god of fire, forge and artisians; Agni, the Hindu god of fire; Loki the Norse god of (among other things) fire; and finally Pele, the Hawiian goddess of fire, lightning, dance, volcanoes and violence. On the other side of the fence there’s also mighty Prometheus, who stole fire from the Gods. |

My beardies are Prowler (because he was always on the prowl for crickets instead of just gobbling them up) and Pancake(because she flattens all the way out like a pancake on her basking rocks) And my skink is Dozer, because he moves his sand from one side to the other like a bulldozer. I’ve never been good at names, but I think I did pretty good with these ones..all my other pets names are horribe lol |
