Not eating Harry hasn’t been eating for the past 3 days. The first day of not eating, he brushed his veggies out of the way to get to the juvenille iguana pellets (I rarely feed him these, he loves them though). The other days (without pelets) he didn’t even touch them. When I came home from work today, he was under his log and felt cold (I picked him up to see if he was alright). For a portion of the day he basks, but lately he’s been under his log.
My question is, is he just adjusting to his new tank? His tank right now is A LOT bigger than his previous one. The temperatures are all precise, with 122* basking and 82* other end of the tank. I have an appliance timer, too. Also, I haven’t seen any feces for a couple days to test for parasites. ARE these symptoms of parasites?

Not eating By the way, I mainly feed him endive and escarole, some days bok choy, and alternate with Dole spring mix. I also feed him (not often) mixed vegetables (peas, corn, carrots) but he doesn’t like it. He also doesn’t like bananas, zuchinis, peppers, or strawberries. But he LOVES rose petals.

Not eating So does that mean you just moved him to the new tank three or four days ago? Moving to a new tank - even if it’s in the same location in the same house - is just as stressful as any new home. It can be normal to take some adjustment time. It’s always a good idea to check for parasites if there’s a behavior change, just in case.
If you moved him a month ago and he’s just now stopped eating, then something else is probably the cause.

Not eating My tank is 24" wide by 48" long. The height is 18". The thermometers I am using are digital ones. One on each end of the tank, about 6" away from the bottom. I just moved him into the large tank 3 days ago. And I filled out the questions a while back ago when I just got him.

Not eating It can take weeks for him to get use to the new cage . If he does not eat he will not poop. Keep giving him fresh veggies , don’t handle him and he should come around and start eating within a few days . I would fill the food bowl before his lights come on and he has woken up.You could cover the front and sides with something for a few days to give him a more secure feeling . At least until he starts eating again .

Not eating It might also be conducive to purchase a digital kitchen scale (in grams) and weigh the lizard and if he doesn’t eat/excrete in the next week or so and see if he is losing weight. That’s when you should start really worrying.

Not eating I would just give them a few days to adjust to the new tank. A scale is a great idea . We have a small digital one I keep track of my guys with.
Mine dont always eat everyday, sometimes I put there fresh veggies in there and they dont touch them , I get all worried and the next day they eat like pigs.

Not eating Also, when I came home today, Harry was in his log and not out basking. He doesn’t seem to want to bask and yesterday when I tried to pick him up, he was cold. What could I do about this? Is this normal too?

Not eating Is he getting ready to shed? Are parts of him turning dull? Shedding will make them lethargic cranky and not too hungry.

Not eating If his temps are correct in the enclosure, don’t handle him. He may take some time to get used to his new home. Handling can cause additional stress, which won’t make him want to eat. You could also try sprinkling his food with bee pollen, I’ve read others say it entices them to eat

Not eating Exactly what are the temps in the new enclosure ? Do not pick him up or handle him at all for at least a few weeks so he can get acclimated . Without knowing the temps I can not help you further.
