There are literally thousands of types of roses, so it would be impossible to tell just from looking at photos. All rose petals are edible, so it really doesn’t matter what exact type of rose that it. More importantly, it’s important to know 100% that there have been no pesticides, herbicides, or synthetic fertilizers near the rose if you want to feed the petals to your Uro.

Roses are some of the most highly "contaminated" plants in the world, as far as chemicals that are use to grow them properly, be disease-free, and make them look good. I would NOT feed any rose petals from a plant that has come from a nursery within the past year or two. I would only use rose petals from your garden or someone who you were 100% sure did not use any type of chemicals.

Hope that helps out some... My baby Saharans LOVE their red rose petals :)
