How do you tell if its a Male or Female???

HELP!!
I don’t have one yet but before I’m set on a name... I got 2 know!!!

( I don’t want a Male MaliUromastyx named Cleo... )

Soooo... Is there a way?????????????????????????????????????????????????????

As long as the Uro is healthy and has the right, lighting, heating, diet, environment and care, it shouldn’t matter what sex it is.

From what I understand, and I might be wrong, but it can be really hard to tell male from female until they are almost adults. AND there are some females that "mimic" males.

Don’t worry about the sex of the Uro, just choose a name that is unisex, one that doesn’t specify male or female. I’ve noticed alot of members have Uro’s with names that don’t specify the sex of the animal. I think its just easier that way.

I agree look at your uro and come up with a name. My uro is a girl but, i call it a him and his name is wrinks because we we brought him home he was full of wrinkles. There personality should show in there name not the sex. Sue

i just want to add in a bit. i don’t post a lot here but i want to tell you these guys know their stuff about uro’s!!!! you should listen! please don’t put the uro in a 20 gal at least do the lilttle guy a favor and get a 75. imagine how you would feel being stuck in a 20 gal burning up with no where to go.....just think for a minute if you would wanna be in that situation.
