NEW BI-WEEKLY PICTURE CONTEST !!! 8/1/08 - 8/15/08

Welcome to the bi-weekly picture contest!

This will run from TODAY, Aug. 1st until Friday, Aug. 15th

This is the thread for which to post picture entries.

The contest will start on Fridays and run for 2 weeks, ending on Friday at midnight. Voting will occur for one (1) Week. Those who submitted, and those who didn’t, will have until the following Friday night at midnight to vote for the pictures they like most by sending me a PM with their favorite picture name. Results will be posted Saturdays.

RULES:
1) To get more of a variety of pictures to vote on ..... TWO Pictures Per Member
2) Multiple Uro’s in one picture is ok (unless specified)
3) Please do not sign in as somebody else to enter more pictures (i.e.: husband, wife, brother, sister etc.)
4) Try to post new pictures (try to avoid pictures that have been posted already but not in a contest…it’s fun to see new pictures)
5) Please include the theme name, your Uro’s name, and picture title
6) If you enter a photo you must vote.
7) Have fun, play nice and follow the rules

If you have any questions, PM me.

The winner will pick the next theme or you can also pick “no theme”.

Just another reason to back everything up on Flash drives. I have all my music on my Zune and my pictures on a 5MB flash drive. Oh and all my RollerCoasterTycoon coasters on one too. I don’t want to lose those ! LOL

hahaha, very nice...can’t live without a little roller coaster tycoon. 8 weeks is far from reasonable, i work for a computer repair facility, and i’d have to say if i knew a computer was going to take 8 weeks to fix(not sure how it would, but that aside) i would just say get a new one. 8 weeks would be forensic level (i.e. taking out the hard drive plates and stuff like that)

If you’re near VA you can drop it by us and have it out in a few days

I just moved to PA and i dont know anyone except for the geeks at best buy that i have been spending a lot of time with. They said something about power inverter and its very labor intensive but since they ship it to ky to there place then it goes on the waiting list and has to wait for parts and what not then it could be there 8 weeks. STUPID! By the time i thought to back my stuff up i was there in the best buy dropping it off. I bought a new smaller lap top because there is no way i can go that long with out a comp. They promised me i wouldnt loose my stuff though, i will be devestated if that is not the case!

this is why you should never take stuff to bestbuy, I should know... I used to work there heh. The techs are too stupid to fix half the stuff that comes in, so they ship everything to a service center where somebody half-knows whats going on. I dont want to sound too negative, but dont be surprised if it comes back and isnt fully fixed.

There was a thing on the news recently about some people at Best Buy taking information & pictures off computers brought in for repairs. BE CAREFUL!! You would never know what someone else downloaded from your computer when it is out of your site!!

great! good thing i dont have anything too scandolous on there but still, that sucks. yeah the geeks at the best buy here dont look very geeky i have had to see them like four seperate times so far for various things during my move. I have tried to stop buying things at best buy but its right down the street from my house and i dont know where anything else is yet so i just settled for it.
