Will you help me find a filter for my turtle?

Hello. I have a large red eared slider that I have had for about 12 years. A few days ago I got him a new kiddie pool. The pool is indoors to keep him warm in winter. The pool is about 5 feet across and about a foot deep. It says on the website the pool can hold up to 100 gallons of water. I need a new filter but I cant figure out what kind to get. His old filter wont work and I need one that can be submerged. Does anyone know a good one? Thank you for your time!

I would go with a submersible type koi pond filter & try to find one that is capable for use in a 200 gallon & up pond as they won’t have to be maintained as often.....another thing to consider that the larger the pump the higher the elecric bill so you may wanna cycle it to run at certain time intervals.

ebay has a good selection to search from.......Koi Pond Filters

I ran a quite one 3000 24/7 in my pond and it doesn’t use that much electricity,
they have a duel outlet pipe as well for fountain and pumping water to another level.
You can also get one that comes with a sponge filter.
Fostrsmith has them for about 70 bucks if not on sale.
they also make smaller ones as well, they are good pumps.

But for what you looking for, a pond type pump filter is what you should look for.
