Is my White’s ill?? Need help! I’m new to this!

Hey guys,

I just got my white’s tree frogs 3 days ago! Their names are Albert & Darwin. Darwin seems to be doing fine, but I’m worried about Albert. During the first feeding session, I put 6 crickets into the enclosure & observed them. Darwin was hunting for them happily, but Albert was just ignoring them! At the end of the session, Darwin at 5 & the last cricket was still roaming around. When I woke up the next morning, it was gone, but I don’t know who ate it. I decided to try hand-feeding Albert but he wouldn’t eat. Even after I put the cricket right in front of his mouth! This morning when I looked into the enclosure, I found him burrowing?

Is he ill?

Possibly he might be ill... Could be a paraditic infection or perhaps an impaction. Recommend you put him in a separate tank and take to a vet if possible. What size crickets are you using as feeders? Those big nasty ones with the spiny legs can be bad news, try to stick with more soft bodied, wingless ones. Hope this helps.
