Mertle the turtle (she’s really a tortoise)

I need help. I work at an assisted living facility and last week one of my residents passed away. I was asked to give her tortoise a loving home and I’m honored to do so but I really have no idea how to care for her. I don’t even know what kind of tortoise she is. I do know she is a female and roughly ten years old. She lives in a big tub with a large water dish that looks like a rock and a half log tunnel with some sand and rocks. She also has a heating lamp but is that enough? I’ve been feeding her leaf greens, she likes carrots, cucumbers and tomatoes. Any tips would be awesome. Thank you. The photo I’m trying to upload isn’t working but I will get one asap. She has a beak if that helps.
