 Home’s hinge back tortoise

Hello everyone, I have a question about me new hingeback tortoise. I went to the kansas city reptile show yesterday and purchesed a male and a female home’s hinge back tortoise. I know that most of these are wild caught and can have a lot of stress when finally put in their new home but I’m just a tad worried. The male hasn’t really come out of his shell at all. I also know that this is a shy species, but the female has come out and eaten. They both feel heavy and solid. The female’s eyes look clear and she doesn’t have bubbles coming from her eyes or nose. I haven’t been able to look at the males eyes or nose because he stays in his sell. They both pull away from me wheni gently tug on their limbs. I just want to make sure I’m not missing anything. Any feedback would be great.

Thanks,
Tanner
