 Swollen lip american toad

My American toad has a swollen lip on one side. It is housed within a 30 gallon tank with four other toads, and the others are healthy. He does not seem ill otherwise, and is able to eat. What can/should I do?

In case it’s some sort of bacterial infection, you may want to separate him temporary to another tank just to make sure he doesn’t transfer it to the others. Then, I recommend that once a day, you gently swab the affected area with a moistened Q-tip dipped in a very small quantity of Neosporin or similar clear antibiotic ointment (careful, don’t overdo -- just a very small quantity, in that area only)... Feed him as usual, then see what happens after a few days.
