 Can anyone identify these toads?

#ff2222
These toads were at my friends, and his dad wanted to kill them so i took them.

Here are some picturs:

Is anybldy able to help me identify them? They are from northern colorado

Also, in the pics they look like 2 different ones, but theyre not. They look exactly the same, but one is a little bit of a darker color.

Thanks!

i might be wrong. my gulf coast toad isn’t that warty. there’s a pic of cane toads further down in this forum, and except for size, they look quite similar. you might go to colorado fish and game’s website and see what is native to your area.

Could be several toads but most likely a woodhouse toad or an eastern american toad. but honestly there are many species of toad that look identical and anyone who says that its a pacific one without actually looking at it is full of it. Even with hands on indentification it would honestly be hard especially since you just got it from a friend and he probably caught them god knows were. But most toads in america and most possiblities for it are all raised the same way. One question is there any spots on the darker ones belly.
