Fire bellied toad help fast!!  my fire bellied toad has been sick for a while now about a 3 weeks. he has one cloudy eye, swims upside down, back legs are very weak, and wont eat. i tried melafix and its not working. hes separated from the others heres his pic sorry its orange

Fire bellied toad help fast!!  No leg control, legs splayed out like that, bloating, 3 week duration. Your frog is not long for this world. It could be a number of things like insuffcient calcium supplements, but more more likely it’s a massive bacterial infection brought on by toxic overload and a infrequent tank cleaning. How long have you owned this frog. Do you have others that are also displaying similar symptoms? You really needed to get help for him weeks ago. I can suggest baytril as an antibiotic to fight a bacterial infection, but your frog is likely in the final stages of his life.
I can only help you prevent this from happening again or if you have other FBT’s how to treat them to keep them from dying too.

Fire bellied toad help fast!!  baytril. 1/3cc in 1 gallon of water. spray him down 1-2 times a day. repeat for 7-10 days.
