Lighting questions.... hi, do you mean for uv or basking lights? i personally use reptisun 10 uv tube, and four 50w halogen lights, some people use the powersun, they are good cos they are uv and a heat lamp in one

Lighting questions.... I would have to agree - my cage is large like a room- so i use a growlight ij the middle 4ft off the ground, then i use a 150 wtt basking bulb, uv incandescent florescent-10.0 or a 5.0 either one seems to work all of the lights are set on a 4 ft beam across cage- i have a 2by4 going down to 20 inches from ground-bulbs are in the steel covered recipticles so they have about 8 to 10 inches to hang light down with uv 1 side at right about 12 to 14 inches I believe when i set up cage it was 12 but i think my reds were jumping at it so i moved it up to 14 .other side is basking bulb runs 99-104 f. timed from 6 am- 6pm just adjusted that from 7 am to 5 pm. cooling cage down a bit as per seasons- runs 80- 92 f.
they enjoy it so i enjoy watching!
