Actually... all of the reptiles ive ever had use aspen bedding, the main reason is because it is digestible if ingested.. And although aspen isnt too great at holding moisture, you should mist the cage/ herp everyday anyway so you shouldnt have shedding problems unless your herp is unhealthy due to diet |

As long as your temperatures are high enough and your enclosure isnt 90+ humidity (which it isnt) then the water in your bedding with evaporate into the surrounding air. And if it does, its isnt harmful, although i would suggest removing it immediately :) |
