my tegu wont eat crickets. but it will eat pinkys should i just feed pinkys every day? hes only a month old

no. Chance between stuff. Dont stick to one thing. Try ground turkey and worms too. Once it gets bigger, you ll need to feed it alot of crickets and pinkies so just start finding other things. Mice pinkies arent very good for them anyways. Rats are much better and helps them grow alot faster. Try some things out and see whats best for your budget and your tegu.

My tegu is growing like a weed, and it usually only eats mice. I spray the mice with a vitamin supp. and Use a power sun UVA/UVB light. She refuses to eat any fruit or veggies. Sometimes I mix some fruit and veggies in with a hard boiled egg or cat food just to get her to accidentally eat some. She sheds constantly and has no problems and she is really red. So I think you’d be fine to feed mostly mice or rats.

A mouse pinky is much smaller then a rat pinky and rats provide more nutrient. Just like how a snake grows faster eating rats then mice. If your tegu doesnt like fruits, I would suggest cutting up grapes and mix it with ground turkey. Sometimes i mix it with scrambled eggs. But mostly mice and rat diet isnt bad. You should still mix it up a little. Feeder fish in a tub is always fun ;)
