Please answer the following, if talking about different type of Tegu please list its name above answer 1.How large should a new Born’s cage be. (L,W,H) 2.Regular basking temp 3.Cooler temp. 4.Night temp. 5.Humidity level. 6.Adult cage size (L,W,H) 7.Temperament, can it be handled. 8.Cost on average. (animal’s price alone) 9.Experience level. 10.Food for young reptile. 11.Food for adult. 12.Size of newborn. 13.Size of adult. If possible list sights or breeders you liked.. Please tell me if other questions should be added |

1. New born’s cage- Atleast 20 Gallon cage. (2x1x1) 2. 110 degrees 3. Mid 70s 4. mid 70s, basking temps 5. 50% (if moist dirt provided to dig then wont have shed problems) 6. ATLEAST 8x4x4 IMO. Mine is getting a 14x10 outdoor coming spring. 7. Very docile and calm if worked with regularly. 8. Anywhere from $50-150 9. 2 years. 10. Generally insects and small mice. 11. Whole foods, fruits, veggies, and many other foods are safe. 12. about a foot long tip to tip 13. Over to 5 ft. Agama international and varnyard herps seem to be the best. Cost of food a week is not bad for me but i breed my own mice/rats and chicks. Overall great pet and grows very fast to be a very impressive animal. |
