 Breeding Cope’s gray tree frogs

I havealways had a few Cope’s gray tree frogs around my above ground swimming pool. Last year I didn’t open the pool as usual. By Memorial Day I noticed that in the water collected on the cover there were hundreds of tadpoles. The Cope’s gray tree frogs mate in mid May. Very loud at night. Anyway, I let them mature and crawl out.

This fall I tore the pool down. When May rolls around I expect to have many frogs wanting a water feature to lay eggs in. I would enjoy accommodating them. How big should it be and how many tadpoles could it accommodate? How sanitary?

Advise or links appreciated.

In nature there are no rewards or punishments. Only consequences.
