 Food! help emergency answer asap

so i just got a tiny 3/4 of an inch tadpole what do i feed it that i can find around the house i have tadpole pellets but hes not that interested oya and hes wild caught

try fish flakes, boiled lettuce, algea wafers...I don’t know what’s in your house, but if you have fish you should have something that tad will eat too.

Do what "Clawedfrogsrule" Said. If your tank has some algae growing or anything algae related or dirt related, tadpoles love to eat it. I’ve used a little bit of fish flakes and Algae pellets in the past. I ran a filter in my American Bullfrog tadpole tank one time, with a UVB florescent bulb, and the rocks and filter started growing algae which the tadpoles loved.

everything they all said will work great i currently have two tadpoles in my fish tanks as we speak, i feed them fish flakes (what ever my pig fish dont eat) and algae tabs. Other than that they are bottom feeders for the most part anything that hits the bottom they will try to eat including fish droppings. Good luck and wish you the best
