How long does it take for a woods frod to go through the whole cycle?
I have had my wood frogs since memorial day and they just got their back legs about 1 week or so ago. A few of mine are starting to get their front legs but I am not sure if that is actually what I am seeing. The cycle depends on their environment also. If you read my thread titled I can’t believe... you will read what my neighbor did with the ones we both got on the same day and you can see pictures in another thread started by me (I can’t remember the title though). The ones I have I have put outside for 2 hours a day in the sun so they get the natural light, I fed a few times a day and changed their water every 3 days, now the others from my neighbor sat in the basement with no water changes and fed once a day (so they said) and started eatting eachother and were all disoriented when I got them but once I changed their water they stopped swimming in circles and upside down. They are doing great now. I just wish I didn’t have to care for another 26 more on top of my 31. I am getting tadpoled out. I have to catch each one and then change their water then catch them all again and put them back and it sucks. So to answer your question it really depends on how you care for them on how fast they will change.
