 Hm... Emerald Swift for me?

I saw two Emerald Swifts three weeks ago at Petco, and I saw the same two yesterday at Petco, I believe they are full grown. I am relatively new to raising lizards but I fell in love with these two, they were very skittish... I am not thinking about getting one any time soon, but I do eventually want to have one.
1.Do you think Emerald Swifts are good or decent lizards for a relatively new lizard owner like me? (I have a Western Fence Lizard from Oregon, a friend gave her to me two months ago, and she is very healthy)
2.Are Emerald Swifts usually very skittish, or was it possibly just what they have gone through in there lives?
3.Do you think I should get those poor guys? They are always cuddled together.
4.I have an extra 10 gallon tank, should I get them both? I feel SO bad for them!!!
I will do the rest of my research online and I will look for an Emerald Swift Care Sheets here on RepticZone (a website I trust). I will study till I think about nothing but Emerald Swifts for weeks... if those little guys last that long in the Pet Store... :(

1: Emerald Swifts would typically rank somewhere along the lines of an intermediate hobbyist, simply because of the fact that they are tropical lizards and have more care requirements.

2: They usually are, but in my opinion that is because they are wild-caught. Every lizard has a different personality, who knows, there might me some that love handling. If anyone were to have a captive-bred swift, their temperament may very well change.

3: If you have the money, time and commitment necessary, then yes! Don’t keep males together though, it stresses them!

4: I’m not sure about 2 swifts in one 10 gal; the general rule for western fencies is 10 gallons per lizard. But fencies are ground-dwelling; I’m sure if you put a second level made of branches or something up there it probably would be okay.

I think there is a girl AND a boy. One is grayish brownish and on is more green... but i didn’t pay much atention to the sizes.

Oh yes, definitely. And, the dull-colored ones are going to be the females.

 Hm... Emerald Swift for me?

okay, well, thank you for the advice! We are heading out soon so we might stop at Petco and see how those little guys are doing and POSSIBLY get them but it will be a lot of money spent at once. I don’t really want to get them on the same day I get their terrarium stuff but they’ve been there long enough that they might not be there next time... but I’ll see what I can do. Thanx AGAIN!!!!
