"Varying by species, spiny lizards or swift lizards may be live-bearing (ovoviviparous) or egg laying (oviparous). The egg layers may have several clutches a year, but the live bearers only have a single clutch a year.... The babies are carbon copies of the female." Emerald Swifts are live-bearing and I’m sure of this cause my female has had a live clutch before. |
