 New Mexican Red Knee

I’m kind of new to the tarantula world. I had a beautiful chilean rose hair for years and I just got a little spiderling Red knee. I’ve read that a lot of people have lost their babies to bad molts and I’m wondering how do I prevent this?

The best thing to do is make sure the humidity is high enough. So if you notice your tarantula miss a meal, pay attention and see if they’re laying down a bedding of web. If they are and/or they miss another meal, you could add an extra water dish or lightly mist the tank to make sure the humidity will be high enough.

Good luck with your little Redknee!
