heres my new tarantula that i was told was a red morph rose hair if he or she is not could anybody tell me what type he is?

post a ventral picture and we can get an idea, best way though is to wait for a molt.

That is a very nice red phase rose hair and looks female,but a ventral picture would be best to confirm the sex of your spider.

it doesnt like being messed with really,ive touched it but he seems nervous, its been kinda hard for me to get a picture of the underneath but when ive partially held him hes about the size of my hand maybe a little bigger

Mine can also be very skittish and has days where it just does not want to be bothered.Do you know how to pin them and pick it up that way?If not you can take a jar and use a small paint brush to gently nudge them into the jar and you will be able to see their book lung area without holding them or stressing the spider out.
